This Winchester manufactured third variation lower tang assembly is for the post 64 model 94 top eject lever action carbines manufactured roughly between 1975 and 1977 and having a serial number between 4,000,000 and 4,580,000. This lower tang assembly does NOT have the two support rails on the side of the front most section that lock into the receiver and still uses the older mainspring system.
